Exhibit 7: NE Corner Dry Rot

Within the first week of painting, the team took off my baseboards to reveal a crap ton of wood rot. Most of the plaster and some of the wood just fell to the floor.

This part was especially damaged. It rests right below the parapets in the corner. And since the lame previous owners never put a new roof on, there is water damage among all my walls.

I really appreciated the super-janky homegrown reinforcement this construction worked decided to do.
